“Better late than never” as the saying goes. This seems to be my motto as of late on a lot of things in my life. Today it happened to be the comic. Technically I am getting this comic up on Tuesday, but it is showing up on Monday. Will this become a habit? NO!
The past few days and the weekend just came together with work and freelance to ambush my time when I wasn’t looking. I have to admit, I did make a few poor choices in time management, but the main reason is my day job ate into freelancing time and both of those equal money so my freelancing had to eat into the comic.
As a result, though, I can learn from this and hopefully there won’t be any more missed or really late days again. Now that the smoothing over has been done, I hope you enjoy today’s comic. I really had fun working on it because I tried a few new things to try and push the art a bit more, especially in the backgrounds. I am really enjoying drawing Hugo more as well, his design is just so squishy and fun to mess with, but it can get away from me if I don’t watch it. Drawing one line wrong or a curve off will make him look like a different cat
This comic is still touching on an event that happened between him and Michele in one of the earlier comics. It has been sort of a running story line in the comic. I will wrap it up in October.
Anyway, this week is pretty much gonna be a Hugo week. Also, October will feature more of his adventures as well as some fun Halloween stuff with the whole gang. So, keep reading and thanks for sticking around and spread the word. Also, use the TWC link to the top right of the page (just under the comic) to vote on the comic to help rank it up so we can get more readers
