The pics below are my entries for this week’s www.illustrationfriday.com word, Trouble. They are pieces that I have done in the past actually but I feel they represent the word pretty well. As a matter of fact they represent trouble on a variety of levels. I posted three images because I couldn’t decide on just one that I liked the best. They all have a coolness about them that I dig.

The first two were done as pin-ups for two different independent comics. One was more of an apocolyptic set in the future comic and the other was more along the lines of The Lord of the Rings. The last one was a character study for another comic character, Xavier Knight, that I was commissioned to do. The comic never saw the light of day and I never saw any money, but thems the breaks I guess. Anyway, enjoy.

Sorry everyone but today’s comic won’t be up until super late (prolly closer to the wee hours of Saturday morning to be honest). I have been pretty piss poor on my time management this week and it just got away from me. I have the comic drawn, I just need to add backgrounds and lettering. Sorry again, but on the bright side there will be a weekend comic

On days between new comic posts I am going to try my best to have new original content post to the site in the form of gaming, comic or art related articles or the like that I feel may be of interest to my readership. In this effort I have teamed up with a friend and co-worker to form a new feature on the site called Opinion of the Geek which will consist of articles written by Dane Turner on topics ranging from computer, console and table top games to comic books and movies.

Today’s article reviews the Lego Indy game in depth for anyone searching out great Lego games. Each Tuesday and Thursday will feature new articles as they become available. I hope everyone enjoys the new addition to the website and spread the word and thanks for reading.

I am going to try and start posting to my Live Journal account as regularly as I can. It will be, for the most part, a sketchbook dump for drawings either scanned right out of my sketchbook or bits and pieces of semi-finished drawings and sketches that I like but don’t really have any where else to post them.
