As most that follow my Twitter feed will know, I finally broke down yesterday and bought a cell phone and access to the mobile web. Now, the reason I say “access” to mobile web is because (as the comic implies) I am way too broke at this very moment to afford the $120.00 unlimited monthly plan for the iPhone from AT&T, so to get around this and get all the goodness I need – yes NEED – from the mobile web and Apple I bought an iPod Touch. Yes, I spent pretty much the same amount of money on the Touch as I would have on the iPhone, but the catch is that the Touch has no monthly payment attached to it. The only thing is that I am a slave to free wi-fi spots and I am sure that is gonna start to piss me off.

Now, you may be asking, where is the phone? On the phone end I went with one of those pay-as -you-go companies. This plan touts unlimited talk, text and data for $45.00  month – which sounds pretty good, but so far I cant access the web with the phone – I am sure it’s not gonna be what it’s cracked up to be, but as long as the phone works for talk and text and the occasional access to the web when I don’t have a wi-fi connection then I think I can get by for a couple years or so until they come out with just embedding the technology into your brain

You may have noticed that the comic is in color as well. I like it. I may – big if on MAY – keep doing it in color. For the foreseeable future I say, yes I will do it in color. It may take a bit longer and updates may be more like they have been over the past couple of weeks (sparce) but I think it adds to it.
