Continuing with the fan sketchbook comics, today’s sketch is inspired by Monster Commute. The reason I love Monster Commute so much is that it is beautifully designed. Everything in the comic and on the surrounding website and products and EVERYTHING is designed to the nines. You’d think, by looking at them, that the characters would be super easy to draw, but about half way into this drawing I was struggling. The simplicity of the comic is deceiving.

So, once you’re done here take a look at Monster Commute. Daniel Davis and his wife have really done an outstanding job on design, branding and marketing of the comic and everything involved with it.
