I’m continuing to mess with negative space a little bit in the sketches again today. I really wanted to do something with Karen because I’ve been refining her look ever since I created the character, but while watching The Dresden Files as I drew, the thought of these sort of recognizable angel or bird wings carved out of negative space popped into my mind and I just ran with it. At any rate, I kinda like it.
I posted a large block of the text from yesterday’s comic post that keeps my plans for the next few months fresh in everyone’s mind if you want to scroll down a little bit and read up on that if you didn’t yesterday. Also, thanks for keeping up the vote on TWC and spreading the word about the comic. Good things are yet to come 
Oh dude! You’re WATCHING the Dresden files? Have you read the books? I’m reading them right now and they’re fantastic… I’ve heard the show is terrible. Been avoiding it like the plague! But maybe I’m wrong.
I’ve never read the books, though everyone tells me I should so it’s probably inevitable that I will now, but the show is really good. I like it a lot. Of course this is coming from someone that knows nothing of the books, so it may be nothing like the books are. But as a stand alone show goes, it’s not bad.
Definitely give them a try, they are a nice easy read and filled with tongue and cheek humor. You’ll love them!
