Karen is probably my favorite female character to draw (no offense Michele). I think that she is probably the best designed character I have to be honest. She is very fluid and interesting to look at and, now that I’ve have done some refining, she is very easy to draw and retain the general look of the character.

If you couldn’t tell by now, I am getting pretty bored just drawing sketchbook drawings everyday. Don’t get me wrong, this Summer Sketchbook Series has done me a world of good and it really was what I needed to build my confidence in my drawing, but I am ready to jump into telling stories again with these characters. I am really excited to put what I have learned and honed over the summer to good use in the strips. I can’t wait until next week.
