Missed the update for Friday because this comic took a lot longer to finish than I thought it would, mostly because I get a little too knitpicky with things, but it came out pretty well and I am pretty happy with it. Because this should have been Friday’s update, tomorrow will update with what should have been Monday’s comic. I’ll also have two more comics up after Tuesday as well.
I had a pretty great weekend. Spent Saturday with my parents and had our first Christmas of the season. Next weekend @khurlebusch and I will have our second Christmas with her parents. I also met @willterrell this weekend at his studio in Lubbock, Texas. He’s a really awesome guy and amazing talent. Our hour or so conversation gave me a lot to think about in terms of what it takes to make a living creating comics and what I need to work on in my own process to get to that professional level. Check out his comic, Super Zeroes and follow him on Twitter as well.
Friday we will be recording a holiday show of @artzenpodcast. We’ve taken a couple of weeks off to sort of relax a bit and do some holiday related things that needed to get done in our personal lives, but we should be back on the ball starting this Friday. So, lots going on. Thanks for sticking in there with me this year guys and thanks for reading and spreading the word about Robot Friday

Love this storyline, Thomas. It’s going to be interesting to see where you take it. Don’t monk the art form, hoo haw!
Thanks Mark, I’m glad people are digging the story line. Sometimes in my brain things are funny and make lots of sense based on the type of humor I have – but then everyone else is like, “huh?” It’s good to know this time that didn’t happen. I mean really, it had a chance of going either way
Hey! Thanks for the shout-out Thomas! It was great meeting you and I really enjoyed the chat. Glad you got something out of it too.
Any time Will. It was good meeting you too and it was nice “talking shop” with someone who knows what it’s like.
