A few weeks back Denver Brubaker, creator of The Tales of a Checkered Man comic, put out some feelers for Halloween artwork of other artist’s original characters dressed for Halloween as one of the characters of Tales of a Checkered Man. Of course when Denver asks for art there better be Hell and High Water or I’m gonna draw something!

I always love doing guest art or submissions for Tales of a Checkered Man because it’s a blast creating that crime noir feel that Denver does with his comic. I’m always flattered by the kind words my artwork gets from Denver too.
